ARROWROOT

Arrowroot is a silky white powder made from the dried rhizomes of the tropical Arrowroot plant. It is often used in cooking as a thickening agent and has many health benefits if used as a food, as it contains many beneficial minerals and vitamins such as zinc, iron, potassium and vitamin B6.

In personal care and in cosmetics, arrowroot is used to alleviate dryness, to calm skin irritation, and to absorb moisture. It has rejuvenating, softening and skin-soothing properties. It very successfully replaces cornstarch, which is typically made from genetically modified (GMO) corn.
